A new cabin built amongst the natural beauty of Lake Superior’s north shore. The form reflects the local topography shaped by a deep tributary stream nearby. Capped by a roof with shifting folds and deep overhangs providing protection and dappled light to its occupants like the surrounding tree canopy. The interior spaces are warm and natural, linked together by a sculptural staircase which supports a three tiered bunk bed.
